As you’re reading this, I’m on my way to a Mastermind with my coach. It’s a two day event and I’m super pumped about it.

Not too long ago, I was invited by a coach that I was working with to an event she was hosting.

I had all kinds of reason about why I shouldn’t go (usually having to do with my day job and family) and why it didn’t make sense for me to travel since I wasn’t bringing in “really good money” just yet.

Looking back, I can see that those things weren’t really reasons. They were excuses.

You see, I wasn’t really IN. Not 100% IN, anyway.

I was almost there… 99% committed.

And the crazy thing is, it’s so much harder to be 99% committed because you’re working really hard and spinning in circles because of your back-up plan. (I told myself, sometimes daily, that maybe it wouldn’t be that bad to stay in my sales job, after all.)

I was sabotaging myself and making it so much harder than it needed to be. I was called forward and yet my feet felt like they were stuck in concrete.

Fast forward up to last month, February, and my Six Figure Impact™ Academy clients traveled into town for the Marketing Money and Mindset Retreat that I was hosting.  I’ve heard from several of the peeps that they’re still “buzzing” from the energy and realignment with their business goals and their vision.

It’s funny (now) how several years ago I resisted exactly what I most needed – the power of recommitting to my business, my goals, my dreams and the impact I’m called to create.

What does 100% commitment look – and feel – like for you? How is that different from how you’re showing up now?


Commitment isn’t a one time thing. It’s a regular, several times a year, thing.

Just like in relationships, it’s the realignment with the commitment to grow in an intentional way that makes the magic happen.

So, what does this have to do with you?

Look at where you feel stuck.  Ask yourself if you’re 99% or 100% committed to your business.  (I know, this can feel crappy, but do it anyway.)

What does 100% commitment look – and feel – like for you?

How is that different from how you’re showing up now?

If you’re in the 99% camp, dig deeper to uncover the excuses you’ve been holding onto and using as the reasons you can’t find the time, the money, the energy to take the next steps in your business.

Stepping Up

Next up, I invite you to ask for what you need. You’ll be amazed what happens: You’ll start getting answers and solutions and feel a renewed sense of momentum and energy. (This is all on you, too, by the way. This leadership thing is ready for you to grab when you’re really committed to making a change.)

The shift you’ll notice when you do this isn’t because you have the best accountability buddy or coach that is super smart (although, they may be those things).

The shift will happen because you took the time to get clear about what you need.

You took the time to look IN for the answers rather than blaming things outside of you for being stuck.

That’s taking responsibility.

That’s showing up as a leader.

That’s stepping in to your power.

That’s when your business really starts to grow.
